But such propellers can only be built if they have non-stiff blades with a variable – and adapting! – twist.
Without the suitable morphing blade technology even a tiltrotor design can’t be utilized to its full capacity.
With stiff blades remains what we have today: the not-so elegant, separate sets of rotors/propellers: for lift/hover on the one hand, and cruising flight on the other.

Local governments are taking full advantage of this. Sheriff’s office here frequently turns off ADSB because of noise complaints. They don’t want people to know when they are being harassed and having their taxpayer money wasted.
